Waiting For The Ginger Bread Man
Original Oil Painting

I met Harvey and Lauren in 2019. They were sat outside the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square London. I got to know them both and learnt their story as to how they had ended up homeless.
I got the impression that they were clinging on to the only thing that they had left which was hope and they were waiting for something to happen maybe an escape from the tough and traumatic world that they were enduring.
What really hit me as I spoke to them both was who was going to come and help them?
I am happy to announce that 30% of all the proceeds of the sale will go to charity. The charities that I donate to are The Innocence Project based in the US and New Hope based in the UK. The Innocence Project’s mission is to free the staggering number of innocent people who remain incarcerated, and to bring reform to the system responsible for their unjust imprisonment (www.innocenceproject.org). New Hope exists to serve individuals who are homeless or vulnerably-housed through the provision of accommodation and opportunities to transform lives (www.newhope.org.uk)
The painting will be delivered professionally in a hand crafted frame together with a signed certificate of authenticity. The painting will be tracked and insured during delivery. Delivery is free.
