I am happy and proud to be working with the charity www.friendship.ngo. Friendship do a great deal of work in Bangladesh where they work with the local community to try and create solutions to the problems caused by climate change. Bangladesh is at the epicentre of the consequences of climate change and the people of Bangladesh constantly have to deal with issues such as flooding.
I will be going to Bangladesh with the charity and will spend time with the local community talking, sketching and photographing them. I will then come back to the UK to produce 12 portraits and these portraits will be displayed in exhibitions in London, Paris and Amsterdam. The proceeds of these exhibitions will go to the charity to help them continue their fantastic work.
