Hind Rajab original oil painting by James Earley

James Earley has artwork censored

On the opening night of The Other Art Fair in London I was told that I could not display my work that showed the suffering of the people of Gaza and the war crimes that are occurring there. I refused to show any of my other work on the basis that I feel that art should not be censored. I would like to thank everyone for their support over the last few days. I have always intended my art to ask questions, to spark emotion and raise debate whilst at the same time fighting against poverty, racism and war. The last few days I have been hit by waves of hate and insults by some people. These people have pressured various galleries and art platforms to ban me and not show my work and unfortunately these institutions have given in, so I am pretty much alone now, just me and my website. I strongly disagree that art should be censored and I will not be silenced so I am asking for your help to please share my website and my social media pages. We cannot let the bullies win.
