I am proud and honoured to announce that my oil painting “Mother and daughter” has won the American Art Award for contemporary oil paintings.
This painting is very dear to me as it was inspired by my life changing trip to Bangladesh in 2022. I met Morshida and her daughter in the most beautiful but remote islands in Bangladesh. The colour and beauty was breathtaking yet at any moment the island could be flooded as threats of floods were constant.
